Our Approach to Strategic Publication Planning

Step 1: Establish a cross-functional Publication Planning team

Leading every team are a Medical Director, Account Director, and Project Manager. Working with them are one or more Senior Medical Writers and Project Coordinators, depending on our clients’ needs. Each dedicated team has access to on-site Medical Editors, Medical Librarians, and other integral support staff, all of whom contribute to the successful execution of the Publication Plan.

Step 2: Conduct a Publication Audit

Working closely with our clients’ publication team, we identify scientifically relevant publication needs and opportunities to optimize communication of validated data to the right audiences.

Step 3: Develop your strategic Publication Plan to address

   • What data are available?

• Clinical findings
   • What clinical findings can be communicated based on the data?

• Audiences
   • Which healthcare providers need to learn about this data?

• Journals and meetings
   • Which are the most appropriate scientific journals and meetings to
      communicate this data?

Step 4: Implement, maintain, and update a dynamic
Publication Plan with clear objectives and milestones

Executing our clients’ strategic Publication Plan leverages the power of our internal teams, processes, and experience to meet every objective and optimize the communication of scientific discovery in every manner possible. Functioning as an extension of our clients’ internal publication team, we assume responsibility for the integrity and quality of every part of the Publication Plan. By monitoring progress of the Plan, we are able to nimbly alter tactics midstream as necessary.
