The Account Director is primarily responsible for the management and leadership of a business unit and its delivery of CHC’s business unit goals. The Account Director will play a key role in the development of CHC’s strategic partnership with assigned client(s) and manage overall business activities to ensure that the Business Unit is delivering effective and efficient client service and meeting financial and business goals. The Account Director will oversee the ongoing maintenance of existing business and support the ongoing identification of new business opportunities that meet annual Business Unit goals. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Master’s preferred. 3-5 years marketing, sales, or account management experience in a healthcare-related Communications agency—fast-paced, high-volume, service environment, with preferably at least 1 year in a management level position. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to prioritize and organize work, meet deadlines, multitask, and successfully function within a team setting. Must have excellent presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Must be detailed orientated and have excellent supervisory and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, the Internet, Intranet, and word processing.
- Senior Medical Writer
The Senior Medical Writer will prepare manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide presentations, as well as review articles and other clinical documents. Ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in biosciences, medically related field, or 3+ years agency experience preferred. Must have broad-based scientific, medical, pharmaceutical experience in clinical or marketing writing. Handle client contacts and deadlines. Flexible work schedules offered, including some work from home.
